Appointments are scheduled in 2-hour blocks, giving you ample time to explore your options and ask questions. To make the most of your time, we recommend that customers add desired items to their account wishlist prior to the meeting.
We offer three levels of options — Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 — to help you customize your home based on your style and budget. Each level reflects a range of products or finishes, from more basic selections in Level 1 to premium materials and enhanced features in Level 3. The cost of Level 2 and 3 options vary depending on the specific item and the size of your home, but all pricing includes both materials and labor. Your New Home Specialist will walk you through the available options and provide pricing for your chosen floor plan so you can make informed decisions with no surprises.
We understand that decisions can evolve — and we’re here to help. If you’d like to make changes after your design appointment, your New Home Specialist will walk you through the updated pricing and availability. If the change is made before your pre-construction conference, no change fee will apply. However, if the change is requested after your pre-construction conference, a $500 change order fee will be charged. Please note that late changes may also result in construction delays, depending on the nature of the update and the current stage of your build.
Yes — in many cases, customers are welcome to provide their own materials, which we refer to as a Non-Standard Option. Whether it’s a specific light fixture, flooring, or specialty product you’d like to incorporate, your New Home Specialist will work with you to determine the best way to include it. Any non-standard materials and/or associated labor will be priced and added to the total cost of your home. We’ll make sure everything is reviewed and approved early to avoid delays during construction and ensure the installation meets our quality standards. However, we request that customers keep non-standard options to a minimum. This ensures a smooth construction process and allows us to keep homes affordable for the families we build for.
CT Homes is not liable for procuring or handling of specialty items.
